CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT KEVIN J HOWELL

Chief Master Sergeant Kevin J. Howell is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 633d Air Base Wing, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. He is the senior enlisted leader responsible to the 633 ABW Commander on enlisted issues and provides senior enlisted mentorship to more than 6,000 Air Force and Army personnel. The 633 ABW provides installation support to more than 100,000 military, civilian, and family members at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, which includes Headquarters Air Combat Command, three operational wings, 2 brigades, and 20 major associate units.

Chief Howell enlisted in the Air Force in January 1983 as an Aerospace Control and Warning Systems Operator. He has served in a variety of assignments in tactical ground and air operations to include deployments to Operations NORTHERN and SOUTHERN WATCH, Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, USSOUTHCOM Counter Drug Operations and CJTF-HORN OF AFRICA. Prior to assuming his current position, he served as the Headquarters Air Combat Command Directorate of Operations Chief Enlisted Manager and the Command Career Enlisted Aviator Functional Manager.
