JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. –
The 633rd Medical Group and 30th Intelligence Squadron
faced off for the 2017 Intramural Flag Football Championship Game at Langley
Air Force Base, Oct. 20, 2017.
The season lasted roughly five weeks with the 633rd MDG
taking the win over the 30th IS, with a score of 19-10.
A total of 15 teams competed against each other during
the tournament. Each team played twice a week, with the top eight teams making
it to the playoffs. The season consisted of 10 games, with an additional two games
needing to be won in order for teams to advance to the championship.
“It was a great season, both teams had really good
players that played well together and should be proud of their accomplishment
this year,” said U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Linh Hoang, 633rd Force Support
Squadron sports program director.
