Airmen helping Airmen
March 15, 2007
Brig. Gen. Burton Field, 1st Fighter Wing commander, fills out an Air Force Assistance Fund donation slip Feb. 28 for Capt. Kylene Ruth and 1st Lt. Joel Pitman, 1st FW Air Force Assistance Fund representatives.

The campaign, which runs until April 15, consists of four charities: The General and Mrs. LeMay Foundation; the Air Force Enlisted Village Inc.; the Air Force Village Foundation and the Air Force Aid Society. Because the program directly benefits servicemembers here, Langley Airmen are encouraged to donate. By contributing to the fund, Airmen not only help other Airmen, but may also potentially help themselves. For more information or to donate, people can contact their unit project officers or supervisors. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Samuel Rogers)
