Diving into command
January 30, 2019 — U.S. Army Soldiers and civilians from the 92nd Engineer Battalion gathered at the Anderson Field House pool to welcome the new 74th Eng. Dive Detachment, 92nd Eng. Btn. commander during a change of command ceremony at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Jan. 25, 2019. Tax centers assist service members and families
January 23, 2019 — Tax centers at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, will begin offering tax filing services to active duty service members, retirees and dependents starting Jan. 28, 2019. Both offices will be open Mondays through Thursdays each week. However, the Langley Air Force Base office will be open from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. until April 18, 2019, and the Fort Eustis office will be open from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. until April 15, 2019. ... MORE

Hampton community honors fallen heroes
December 21, 2018 — Joint Base Langley-Eustis and Hampton community members gathered together at the Hampton National Cemetery to pay respect to fallen members of the Armed Forces in honor of National Wreaths Across America Day in Hampton, Virginia, Dec. 15, 2018. Trees for Troops brings cheer to families, one tree at a time
December 11, 2018 — Dreary weather did not diminish the holiday spirit of U.S. service members as they walked back and forth carrying tightly wrapped evergreen trees from a shipping truck to Bethel Park and Schultz Plaza at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Dec. 7, 2018. With each breath the U.S. Army Soldiers and U.S. Air Force Airmen took as they carried the trees, a small cloud escaped their lips. Fort Eustis Fire Department receives international accreditation status
September 5, 2018 — The Fort Eustis Fire Department at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, received Internationally Accredited Agency status from the Commission on Fire Accreditation International, Aug. 10, 2018. The Fort Eustis Fire Department is one of 250 agencies to achieve Internationally Accredited Agency status from the CFAI and the Center for Public Safety Excellence, Inc.
