Quit smoking: it is never too late
November 21, 2016
To encourage both Airmen and Soldiers to quit the use of tobacco as a New Year's resolution, the Health and Wellness Center at Langley Air Force Base,Va., teamed up with the American Lung Association to create a program where participants may attend a one-hour seminar on smoking cessation. To promote continuing the healthy behavior they have learned, participants then call the ALA each week for 12 weeks to report progress, which is then e-mailed to the HAWC.
