Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness visits JBLE

Virginia Penrod, Acting Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, speaks with Lieutenant General Maria R. Penrod visited multiple agencies and spoke with Soldiers and civilians. Immersion tours help senior leaders to gain insight and context that could later influence the policy making process.

TRADOC Band preps for 2021 Music under the Stars concert series

The U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Band is preparing to launch its 89th season of Music Under the Stars outdoor concerts. The concert series kicks off on July 8th and will be held at 7 p.m. every other Thursday at Magnolia Park on Fort Eustis. The inclement weather date for the 1812 Overture season finale is Aug. 20th. All concerts are free and open to the public. Tickets are not required; attendees can bring food, drinks, pets, lawn chairs and blankets. (Courtesy graphic)
