1MXS Airmen innovation keeps F-22 battle ready

U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 1st Maintenance Squadron’s low observable flight know stealth. They are responsible for the stealth coating, known as LO, on the exterior of the F-22 Raptor. If an aircraft’s LO needs repairs, the LO flight fixes it by repainting the affected area in one of their spray booths and send the aircraft on its way.

Emergency services team tests JBLE first responders

The emergency services team held tryouts for five first responders competing to join the team here, from June 8 - 9. The tryouts occur once every quarter for all first responders, such as members from the 633rd Security Forces Squadron, 633rd Medical Group, 633rd Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department and 633rd CES Explosive Ordinance Disposal at Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

The watershed is home to an estimated 18 million people, and more than 3,600 species of plants and animals, including over 2,700 plant species, and 500 finfish and shellfish species.
