Airmen inspired to see beyond the stars with NASA visit
The NASA insignia has become a staple in pop culture and can be seen all around the Langley Research Center campus. The round shape of the NASA insignia represents a planet, the stars represent space, the red V-shaped wing represents aeronautics, and the circular orbit around the agency’s name represents space travel on a plane at the Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, Oct. 9, 2019.
