Hush house contains engine roar
The 1st Maintenance Squadron propulsion flight uses a control panel to lift the side doors that allow air into the “hush house” for the F-22 Raptor engine to breathe at Langley Air Force Base, Va., July 22, 2015. The engine allows the Raptor to reach supersonic speeds without the use of afterburner. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Derek Seifert/Released)
