U.S. Air Force 2nd Lt. Katherine Shaw, 633rd Comptroller Squadron budget analyst, is currently training for her third IronMan race, which will take place May 16, 2015. Shaw started participating in the IronMan series as a new challenge after failing pilot training in 2013.
