Air Force Assistance Fund

Mark Hurst, 633rd ABW command chief, sign donation slips for the Air Force Assistance Fund at Langley Air Force Base, Va., Feb. 20, 2015. The AFAF is an annual campaign which aims to raise money to benefit four charitable organizations that support Air Force families in need. The charities supported by AFAF included the Air Force Villages program, which offers affordable retirement community for widowed spouses of retired Air Force officers; the Air Force Aid Society, which provides emergency assistance, educational aid and community programs; the Gen. and Mrs. Curtis E. LeMay Foundation, which aides both officers and enlisted widows and widowers with financial grants; and the Air Force Enlisted Village, which provides a secure place for financially-challenged surviving spouses of retired Air Force personnel, enlisted and officers.
