Entomology manages mosquitoes and brings in the bees
Honey bees enter their new home in the 633rd Civil Engineer Squadron entomology shop at Langley Air Force Base, Va., Sep. 30, 2014. The entomology shop united two colonies and combined their hives to have a sizable research subject for mosquito pesticides effect on other insects. The shop’s use of pesticides against mosquitoes has not made an observable impact on the bee colonies. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Devin Scott Michaels/Released)
