U.S. Air Force Capt. Katherine Edwards is an assistant staff judge advocate with the 633rd Air Base Wing legal office. Edwards, a native of Liberty Hill, Texas, joined the Air Force in 2013 after being certified to practice law in the state of North Carolina. Edwards believes she is a strong woman due to the confidence instilled in her by her close relationships with family, friends and mentors. As a captain in the Air Force and as a counselor at law, Edwards finds women’s equality important because it has allowed her to be respected for her competence as a professional.
