U.S. Army Capt. Vidhika Persaud is a laboratory manger assigned to the Medical Department at Fort Eustis, Va. Persaud sees Women’s Equality Day as a way to celebrate women having the ability participate in all aspects of the work-force and life in general. Since first joining the Army, she has seen and felt a change for females. Persaud also said she encourages female Soldiers to go to school and learn more about their jobs.
