February is National Heart Month, and personnel from McDonald Army Health Center and U.S. Air Force Hospital Langley are utilizing new information in the cardiology field to keep patient heart healthy. Changes in blood pressure and cholesterol diagnoses and management have led to fewer medications needed by patients and an emphasis on patient-driven treatment.
