JTF-CS visits Chesapeake Emergency Response Team

David Olszowy, Joint Task Force Civil Support deputy commander, explains the mission and purpose of JTF-CS to the Chesapeake Emergency Response Team (CERT) during a visit to Chesapeake, Va., March 10, 2014. Olszowy discussed the capabilities that can be employed during a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear (CBRN) disaster response in the United States. The CERT educates the community about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains in basic disaster response skills.
