‘Help for today, hope for tomorrow’
The theme of this year’s Alcohol Awareness Month is “Help for Today. Hope for Tomorrow,” and both Joint Base Langley-Eustis alcohol and substance abuse programs are working toward bettering the lives of U.S. Service members suffering from alcohol dependence. The Alcohol and Drug Prevention and Treatment program at Langley Air Force Base provides one-on-one counseling sessions for active-duty U.S. Air Force Airmen and the Army Substance Abuse Program teaches U.S. Army Soldiers responsible alcohol use through monthly classes.
