LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- Fire fighters from the 1st Civil Engineering Squadron provide demonstrations for children at the Operation Hero event here on Aug. 24. Operation Hero is a program to educate military children about deployments. The first Operation Hero was at Mountain Home AFB after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
