Jason Smithson, 1st Equipment Maintenance Squadron, during his visit to the Russ Child Development Center Feb. 20. Jason is one of 18 children who are part of Gov. Kaine’s Start Strong Initiative, which teams Virginia communities with private, faith-based, home-based and military providers in an effort to provide quality education experiences for 4-year-olds.
