LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. – Lt. Col. William Butz, an F-22A Raptor pilot with the Virginia Air National Guard’s 192nd Fighter Wing, prepares for the morning mission May 17. The 192nd FW is the first Guard unit to fly the Raptors. The 192nd has more than 20 pilots trained to fly the Air Force's newest air superiority jet and an increasing number of full-time and traditional guardsmen working alongside active-duty personnel.
