LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- Staff Sgt. Richard Alexander, an F-22A Raptor dedicated crew chief with the 192nd Fighter Wing, goes through flight checks before the morning mission May 17. The 192nd FW is the first Guard unit to fly the Raptors. The 192nd has more than 20 pilots trained to fly the F-22A and an increasing number of full-time and traditional guardsmen working alongside active-duty personnel. May 17 and 18 marked the first time the 192nd generated aircraft sorties with a majority of Guard personnel since their integration with the 1st Fighter Wing. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt.
