JBB welcomes new aircraft, unit
JOINT BASE BALAD, Iraq — Lt. Col. Phillip Stewart, 362nd Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron commander, salutes Col. Michael Fantini, 332nd Expeditionary Operations Group commander, upon assuming command of the 362nd ERS here June 9. The squadron was activated to conduct MC-12 operations. The MC-12 is a medium-altitude manned special-mission turboprop aircraft designed for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. Colonel Stewart is deployed here from Langley Air Force Base, Va., and is a native of Silver Spring, Md.
