On September 11, 2001 America was faced with a day of days. Terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and The Pentagon sent a jolting shock through the hearts of all Americans.Five years ago, aircraft maintainers like Technical Sgt. Christopher Plath, Master Sgt Stephen Crawford, and Senior Master Sgt Robert Schacht (left)at a moments notice,crewed F-16's to be flown by North Dakota Air National Guard pilots like Maj Craig Borgsprom (left center). F-15 maintainers like Chief Master Sgt Charles Forest, Technical Sgt Brad Schoffstall, and Staff Sgt Rick Brady (right) also helped scramble fighters from Langley AFB on that dreadful day.
