Operation Noble Eagle
Staff Sgt Adam Murtishaw, a dedicated crew chief with the 27th Fighter Squadron, performs preflight checks on a F-22A Raptor piloted by Capt Jeffery Lohmiller, a pilot with the 27th Fighter Squadron on January 22, 2006 Langley Air Force Base, Virginia during an operation noble eagle mission (ONE). After the events of 9/11, noble eagle missions were established to protect American air space from terrorist attack.
