Staff Sgt. Christopher Perkuhn is deployed from the Air Combat Command Communications Support Squadron to 9th Air and Space Expeditionary Task Force-Afghanistan, where he serves as the NCOIC of Network Operations. Perkuhn manages and maintains a $16 million network to provide communications to American warfighters at Kabul International Airport, and ensures all systems are operational 24/7 so users can have access to NIPR and SIPR resources.
