Women Soldiers serve honorably at MAHC
U.S. Army Spec. Hyo Jung Cha prepares a sample for analysis at the McDonald Army Health Center at Fort Eustis, Va. Mar. 20, 2012. Cha was unclear of what she wanted to do with her life, she knew she wanted a career over a string of part-time jobs. She joined the Army with her best friend, but the two were separated due to Cha's citizenship status. She was not a U.S. citizen at the time and could not be stationed with her friend who chose the intelligence field. With hopes of being stationed with her friend whom she's known since the fourth grade at Seoul International School, Cha plans to reclassify as a crypto logic linguist. She said the Army has taught her the importance of education, and she now aspires to serve the Army as a warrant officer. (U.S. Army photo by Marlon J. Martin/Released)
