The Matthew Jones House
The Matthew Jones House sits atop of a hill off Harrison Road at Fort Eustis, Va., July 17, 2012. Matthew Jones, a Virginia planter thought to be the original owner, is said to have built the structure as early as 1700. Through the years, the house was occupied by various families and U.S. Army personnel before becoming home to the Fort Eustis Archaeological Program. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
