Growing to meet your needs: Langley neurology offers ‘brainy’ choice in care
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Tameka Turner, 633rd Medical Operations Squadron Neurology Clinic technician, practices a nerve conduction study on a fellow medical technician at U.S. Air Force Hospital Langley at Langley Air Force Base, Va., May 4, 2013. The staff plans to increase availability to patients by including an additional neurologist and expanding services provided through obtaining certifications in electromyography (EMG), a study used to measure electrical activity in a patient’s muscles, and nerve conduction studies, a test commonly used to evaluate function of motor and sensory nerves.
