Describe your deployed duty and the tools you use to accomplish it: As a liaison officer, I use my previous experience as a U-2 pilot. Even more importantly, I tap into various experience and subject matter experts for a variety of systems and aircraft scattered across the globe in order for senior leaders to make informed decisions about the employment of a variety of ISR platforms.
What do you bring to the fight? A knowledge of ISR operations that helps deliver information to senior leaders to better integrate ISR into current and future operations.
What are you overall thoughts and opinions about your mission there? The work here is very tangibly connected to protecting our troops and prosecuting the enemy. It is very rewarding to be connected to that and to be a part of the herculean efforts that are ongoing to meet our nation's objectives.
Supervisor Comments: "Lt. Col. Klosky is a dedicated warrior. He attacks every challenge with a positive attitude and does his duty without complaint, even though he has to be separated from his brand new baby daughter."
