Describe your deployed duty and the tools you use to accomplish it:
As part of my deployed job I mentor and train medics of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL). I also assist in running the clinic and providing care for all Operation Onward Liberty members. I use my certification as a Self Aid Buddy Care instructor, experience from instructing RSVs during RSV rodeos, standard medical technician training and tips from previous mentors at my home unit to help me complete my job successfully.

What do you bring to the fight?
The capabilities of my career field contribute greatly to this mission. With the training and knowledge I have received in my career field, I am able to adequately assist in helping the AFL medics become more proficient with their skills as a medic and helping them improve patient care.

What are you overall thoughts and opinions about your mission there?
Overall this mission is very rewarding. Knowing that I am contributing to helping them building a better force and reclaim a good name for their military is great.
