The Patriot Files: Dear, Airman

Col. Kevin Mastin joined the Air Force in 1982 as an enlisted missile electronic equipment specialist at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wa. His final flight as the vice commander of the 1st Fighter Wing at Langley Air Force Base, Va. is scheduled for June 2012. Throughout his career, Mastin said he hoped people would remember him as someone who always put the needs of others ahead of his own, without once compromising his integrity.
