FORT EUSTIS, Va. –
Service members looking to visit support offices previously located in various buildings around Fort Eustis, Va., will find that they may not be in the same location by the end of September.
As part of the move, all activities currently located in building 601 will be moving to building 705 to make room for elements of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, which are currently off post, and will move on post into building 601. Additionally, the Transportation Safety office, the 633rd Safety office and Mission and Installation Contracting Command will also relocate to building 705. This move allows the installation to demolish several older, substandard facilities.
The move, which started in early August with the relocation of the Army Career and Alumni Program office, should greatly benefit the Fort Eustis community, said John Volkers, 733rd Force Support Division director.
"This move is going to make it a lot easier for Service members and their families to visit multiple services at the same time by putting us in one location," Volkers said. "It's also going to allow [the services] to better communicate and coordinate with each other which will provide our customers better service."
While no lapse in services is currently projected, customers are advised to call with any questions.

Additionally, the Red Cross will be moving from building 601 to building 650.
