JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. –
"Ask the JBLE Commander" is a forum for the Joint Base Langley-Eustis community to ask questions, provide feedback and voice concerns about Langley Air Force Base and Fort Eustis directly to Col. John J. Allen, Jr., the 633rd Air Base Wing commander.
Question: There never seems like there is much going on around JBLE, and when there is, I only hear about it after the events have happened? What are you doing to keep Airmen and Soldiers informed of cool off-duty recreation and social events happening on the Joint Base?

Response:
Great question. There are plenty of things happening on JBLE and it's important our Service members know how to stay informed. The joint base website is a great source of information. The calendar on the main page lists the events going on throughout the year. You can also check out the JBLE Force Support website. In addition to the websites, the Peninsula Warrior paper, Facebook, and JBLE smartphone app all contain information on what's happening on Langley and Eustis. |
