Response:
We have experienced and continue to face many resource challenges that ultimately effect base services. When the voicemail system broke in early 2013, we made the decision to stop paying for old technology that was no longer supported by the manufacturer, and to use our limited resources on more pressing requirements.
That being said, we are always focused on the quality of services we provide our JBLE customers, so we put in an unfunded request that could help us receive voicemails for approximately 4,000 users who were still using the analog phones. While it looks promising our request will be approved, no specific date has been provided. |
