Are there carpooling/bus route options to and from base?

"Ask the JBLE Commander" is a forum for the Joint Base Langley-Eustis community to ask questions, provide feedback and voice concerns about Langley Air Force Base and Fort Eustis directly to Col. John J. Allen, Jr., the 633rd Air Base Wing commander.

Question: Is there a way to find out about carpool options to and from base? I am a civilian who's been here just for a few months, from the west coast, so I do not have a car. How could I go about finding out more information on this?

  Response:

Thank you for the question. While there aren't any formal carpooling options, I suggest you talk with your coworkers and see if you can arrange something. If that option doesn't work, there are busses that visit both Langley AFB and Fort Eustis. I've provided the links below.
