JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. –
A Volunteer of the Quarter ceremony was held to recognize the dedication and commitment of Fort Eustis' humanitarians, Aug. 28.
The volunteer recognition program allows each organization on the installation to nominate a volunteer who had a significant impact on the community during the second quarter.
"Volunteers play a vital role in supporting community organizations," said U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Ross, Ridge, Initial Military Training Center of Excellence, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command deputy commanding general, and Joint Base Langley-Eustis Senior Army Element commander.
