Air Force Firefighters Receive High Angle Rescue Training
U.S. Air Force firefighters from across the nation attend a 15-day training course at Langley Air Force Base, Va., Sept. 17, 2014. The training, led by Louis F. Garland Department of Defense Fire Academy instructors, teaches firefighters how to perform high angle rescues which includes passing the knot in a system obstacle, ascending up the rope, conducting a break bar system, descending and picking up victims.
