Is there a way for JBLE to post gate closures and gate access changes on all of its web and social media pages?

"Ask the JBLE Commander" is a forum for the Joint Base Langley-Eustis community to ask questions, provide feedback and voice concerns about Langley Air Force Base and Fort Eustis directly to Col. Caroline M. Miller, the 633rd Air Base Wing commander.

Question:

  Response:

Thank you for the feedback regarding closing information. Currently information is posted on the JBLE Facebook page announcing such closures, but we feel it is a great idea to incorporate gate closures into additional methods of communication, such as the website status as you mention. We have begun working this into our processes accordingly, and will post future closure information on the JBLE Facebook page (www.facebook.com/JointBaseLangleyEustis), the JBLE News Twitter page (www.twitter.com/JBLEnews), and the JBLE Status Twitter page (www.twitter.com/JBLEStatus). The JBLE Status Twitter page also feeds into the JBLE website (www.jble.af.mil), so closure information will be visible from the homepage. Thank you for the feedback and continued support of JBLE.
