Driving privately owned vehicles at the site of the former mile long building is prohibited. The area is also not approved as a fishing area on Langley. The recently installed landfill cap protects the residents, guests and the Langley community from potential harm associated with the contaminants within the landfill. A solid vegetative cover and no means of erosion are essential to protection. The 1st Civil Engineer Squadron is working to establish grass over sections of the cap; however, people who drive illegally cause significant damage.
