Air show clear zones announced

1st Fighter Wing Public Affairs

With Langley's air show one week away, the following buildings must be vacant during the following times: 

884, 885, 887, 888, 889, 891 (aero club, hush houses and surrounding buildings) 1381, 1385, 1387, 1394 and part of the golf course. 

- April 26 from 2:45 p.m. to 4 p.m. (or after the Thunderbirds land)
- April 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- April 27 from 9 to 11 p.m.
- April 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- April 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

In addition, the following buildings will need to be vacant as well as the perimeter road and jogging track will need to be closed at the following times for the Thunderbird performance:

902, 903, 904, 905, 906, 1315, 1329, 1331, 1332,1335, 1350 1358, 1360, 1361, 1362 (Alert facilities minimum manning with essential personnel only) (NCO pool) Ward (perimeter) road and the jogging track 

- April 26 from 2:45 to 4 p.m. (or after the Thunderbirds land)
- April 27 from 2 to 3 p.m. (or after the Thunderbirds land)
- April 28 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. (or after the Thunderbirds land)
- April 29 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. (or after the Thunderbirds land) 

Waivers will be issued for mission essential personnel. The 1st Operations Group commander must approve all waivers.
