Holiday Rooms available for Langley Airmen

1st Fighter Wing Public Affairs

The Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce's Military Affairs Council is once again coordinating the annual Holiday Rooms program. Through the generosity of Peninsula innkeepers, technical sergeants and below can reserve a free room for visiting family members. Here are the rules and the form to use:

1. Rooms are available for the families of active-duty servicemembers, E-6 and below.
2. The rooms are available for Dec. 23-25.
3. Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis, one room per military member.
4. Rooms are for families of military members; not active-duty members.
5. The military member must be assigned to a Peninsula military or Coast Guard installation.
6. The southside installations have their own program and military members who live on the peninsula and are assigned to a southside installation should be directed to their duty Installations.
7. It is the military member's responsibility to call about individual hotel requirements. Hotels have different check-in times, check-out times and deposit requirements.
8. Once the rooming list is released to the hotels, any changes should be handled directly with the hotel.
