LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. –
Here are the weekly updates for Langley's Intramural Bowling League and the PBA Experience League:
Intramural league
In 2008, all of the teams in Langley's Intramural Bowling League are making the final stretch run toward a league championship and a birth in the post-season tournament. The 1st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron "A" team is the first to reach the 100 point mark. While this is an excellent achievement, it doesn't guarantee the league championship.
Here are the high scores from Wednesday:
Male: Don Strifler 258-596; Brad McCumsey 236-597; Jeff Yager 228-644
Female: Tonya Long 202-467; Lee Hancock 189-491; Veronica Huffles 187-506

PBA Experience league
The league has completed three weeks on the Scorpion Pattern and Jim Clifton is tearing it up. So far, he has the high series and high average by a wide margin for this pattern, and his team has a nearly insurmountable lead on the pattern. With two weeks left, it's hard to imagine a team supplanting Rollin' Thunder.
Here are the high scores from last week:
Brian Snyder 245; Jim Clifton 220; Scott Weidman 212; Don Strifler 212
