LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. –
Here are the weekly updates for Langley's Intramural Bowling League and the PBA Experience League:
Intramural league
There are just 11 weeks left, and the teams at the top are working very hard to stay there. I want to take a moment this week to acknowledge Lee Hancock and the rest of the GCIC "B" team, who show up every week with a great attitude and ready to bowl. Even though they have resided in last place for nearly two straight seasons, I've never once heard them complain. They have maintained a high spirit and are the leading example for sportsmanship within intramural sports.
Here are the high scores from Wednesday:
Male: Ed Hazler 238; Dave Lee 235; Dimitri Williams 230, Dan Murray 224
Female: Emie Stoudt 234; April Dwyer 183; Kathy Duncan 156; Dawn Pettit 156

We have reached the final week for the Scorpion pattern. It's almost academic as Rollin' Thunder maintains a 17-point lead over second place Golf Nutz. Stranger things have happened, but Golf Nutz will require a complete sweep of the 18 possible points to wrestle the Scorpion Pattern Championship from Rollin Thunder.
Here are the high scores from last week:
