Bowlers improve over last year

By Tim Spencer

Each year there are usually individuals who improve their skills over the previous year. This year is no different. Tim Strykowski from the 735 SCMG team has improved by 17 pins over last year's final average of 162. Wendy Davis, ACC A8/A9, led the women with 13 pins over last year's average of 163.

Bowling is an intramural sport that anyone can participate in. Even those who can't score over 100 can compete with the 200 average bowlers because of a handicap system. Each week that bowlers improve and the improvement helps the team win. The wins are not based on who has the highest average but which team bowls the most over their current average.
