Construction affects traffic at CDC, aerospace medicine

By 1st Fighter Wing Public Affairs

A construction project for new visitor's quarters begins Nov. 17. Traffic along Nealy Avenue, Taylor Road and Burrell Loop will be affected.

The VQ contractor will be installing a construction fence with screening along the north side of Langley's Child Development Center parking lot and also the north side of the aerospace medicine clinic.

Taylor Road will be closed between Nealy Avenue and Burrell Loop. Drivers should use Burrell Street and Burrell Loop by way of the intersection at Nealy Avenue and Tuskegee Airmen Boulevard.

Parking lots adjacent to Taylor Road will not be available during construction. The parking lot in front of the CDC may experience additional traffic, and drivers are advised take extra caution when driving in this area. The parking spaces in this lot are for CDC visitors and employees only.

The entrance located on the north side of the aerospace medicine building will also be closed.
