LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. –
Airmen and family members going to an assignment in Germany can take their U.S. Army in Europe driving test here.
The online test is available at the Langley AFB Education Center. USAREUR officials made the test available to several stateside locations because more than 30 percent of first-time testers fail to meet the minimum passing score of 85 percent.
German and European traffic patterns, speeds, signs and laws are different than those in the United States. A driver's understanding of the rules of the road and informational signs is critical to ensure the safety of the driver and those on the road with them.
Practice exams and information about the USAREUR test can be found on the Air Force Portal at https://wwwmil.usafe.af.mil/dlt/. Call the education center at 764-2962 for more information.
