"Hampton Roads Air Force Week will bring America's Air Force into the surrounding communities and allow the Airmen to describe first hand the important roles and missions they perform in defense of our nation," said Mr. Bruce Sturk, City of Hampton director of federal facilities support. "Most citizens have some appreciation for the Air Force's mission but Air Force Week brings the mission into our schools, businesses and communities where Airmen can interact closely with the citizens."
Hampton Roads Air Force Week provides local communities an opportunity to meet Air Force members, see how they help protect America, and allow them to say "thank you" for their support. All Hampton Roads Air Force Week events are free and open to the public.
