Uniform Wear Policy: Long-sleeve blues shirts Nov 1

By Maj. Eric Nyman 1st Fighter Wing executive officer

It is the season of change, in with the new and out with the old.
On Mondays, from Nov. 1 through April 30, all uniformed personnel will wear blue long-sleeved shirt or blouse with a tie or tab. On Mondays, from May 1 through Oct. 31, all uniformed personnel will wear a blue, open-collared, short-sleeved shirt or blouse.
Unit commanders may grant exceptions to this policy to personnel whose specific duty requirements would prohibit the wear of the blue uniform. The Airman battle uniform, battle dress uniform, or flight dress uniform remain the  "uniform of the day" for duty days other than Mondays.
