LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. –
The following are 1st Fighter Wing courts-martial for Oct. 1 through Dec. 31:
A special court-martial was held Oct. 2, 2009 at Langley AFB in the case of U.S. vs. Airman Francisco J. Reyes.
Amn Reyes of the 735th Supply Chain Management Group was charged with assault consummated by battery, assault on a law enforcement official, breach of the peace, failure to obey a lawful order, resisting arrest and communicating a threat. He pled guilty to all charges.
The case was tried before a military judge. Capt Jennifer Sanchez and Capt Javier Farfan, both assistant staff judge advocates of the 1st Fighter Wing, prosecuted the case, with the assistance of SrA Christopher W. Jenkins.
The judge found Amn Reyes guilty of all charges. Amn Reyes was sentenced to bad-conduct discharge, 3 months confinement and reduction to the grade of E-1.
A summary court-martial was held Oct. 7, 2009 at Langley AFB in the case of U.S. vs. Senior Airman Donnovan B. Jackson II.
SrA Jackson of the 30th Intelligence Squadron was charged with wrongful use of marijuana. He pled guilty to the charge, indicating he had wrongfully used marijuana between 24 July 2009 and 24 August 2009.
The case was tried before a summary court-martial officer. Capt Javier Farfan, assistant staff judge advocate of the 1st Fighter Wing, prosecuted the case, with the assistance of SrA Christopher Jenkins.
The summary court-martial found SrA Jackson guilty of the charge. SrA Jackson was sentenced to 30 days confinement and reduction to the grade of E-1.
A general court-martial was held Oct. 14, 2009 at Langley AFB in the case of U.S. vs. Airman Basic Sean Higgins.
AB Higgins of the 1st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron was charged with dereliction of duty, wrongful possession of heroin, wrongful distribution of heroin, wrongful use of heroin, wrongful use of codeine and wrongful introduction of heroin to Langley AFB numerous occasions. He pled guilty to all charges.
The case was tried before a military judge. Capt John Simms, senior trial counsel and Capt Andrea Hall, assistant staff judge advocate of the 1st Fighter Wing, prosecuted the case, with the assistance of TSgt Stephanie Eversley.
The judge found AB Higgins guilty of all charges. AB Higgins was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, 18 months confinement and forfeiture of all pay and allowances.
A special court-martial was held Nov. 3, 2009 at Langley AFB in the case of U.S. vs. Airman Bradley M. Holt.
Amn Holt of the 1st Surgical Operations Squadron was charged with wrongful use of cocaine. He pled guilty to the charge, indicating he had wrongfully used cocaine numerous times between 1 March 2009 and 8 June 2009.
The case was tried before a military judge. Capt Clayton O'Connor, senior trial counsel and Capt Eric Morley, assistant staff judge advocate of the 1st Fighter Wing, prosecuted the case, with the assistance of TSgt Stephanie Eversley.
The judge found Amn Holt guilty of the charge. Amn Holt was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, 75 days of confinement and reduction to the grade of E-1.
A special court-martial was held Nov. 5, 2009 at Langley AFB in the case of U.S. vs. Senior Airman Brandon M. Payne.
SrA Payne of the 1st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron was charged with wrongful use of amphetamines, wrongful use of heroin and wrongful possession of heroin. He pled guilty to wrongful use of amphetamines and wrongful use of heroin charges, indicating he had wrongfully used amphetamines between 29 April 2009 and 4 May 2009, and wrongfully used heroin numerous times between 1 January 2009 and 22 April 2009. SrA Payne pled not guilty to wrongful possession of heroin, and this charge was withdrawn after arraignment.
The case was tried before a military judge. Capt Teah Lambright and Capt Eric Morley, both assistant staff judge advocates of the 1st Fighter Wing, prosecuted the case, with the assistance of SrA Christopher Jenkins.
The judge found SrA Payne guilty of all charges. SrA Payne was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, 5 months confinement and reduction to the grade of E-1.
A special court-martial was held Nov. 12, 2009 at Langley AFB in the case of U.S. vs. Airman First Class Renee M. Tedeschi.
A1C Tedeschi of the 1st Security Forces Squadron was charged with wrongful use of heroin on numerous occasions and wrongful possession of heroin. She pled guilty to wrongful use of heroin, indicating she had wrongfully used heroin between 1 September 2008 and 30 November 2008. A1C Tedeschi pled not guilty to wrongful possession of heroin.
The case was tried before a military judge. Capt Eric Adams and Capt Amber Evans, both assistant staff judge advocates of the 1st Fighter Wing, prosecuted the case, with the assistance of SrA Christopher Jenkins.
The judge found A1C Tedeschi guilty of all charges. A1C Tedeschi was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, 30 days confinement, reduction to the grade of E-1 and forfeiture of $400.00 pay per month for 3 months.
A summary court-martial was held Nov. 13, 2009 at Langley AFB in the case of U.S. vs. Airman Ray C. Anderson Jr.
Amn Anderson of the 1st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron was charged with wrongful use of his Government Travel Card (GTC). He pled guilty to the charge, indicating he had wrongfully used his GTC numerous times between 29 August 2009 and 23 October 2009.
The case was tried before a summary court-martial officer. Capt Jennifer Sanchez, assistant staff judge advocate of the 1st Fighter Wing, prosecuted the case, with the assistance of SrA Christopher Jenkins.
The judge found Amn Anderson guilty of the charge. Amn Anderson was sentenced to 25 days confinement, reduction to the grade of E-1 and forfeiture of $933.00 pay.
