Ironmen return from final TDY
LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. – Sarah Warner jumps onto her father, Lt. Col. Clint “Dean” Warner, 71st Fighter Squadron pilot, upon his return from a two-week temporary duty assignment to Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., in support of a weapon system evaluation program May 27. The TDY was the last ever for the 71 FS as the unit will be deactivated this fall. The program is designed to evaluate pilots, aircraft and maintenance personnel in the area of ordnance employment. “Our maintenance support was the best I've ever seen in my 17 years of service,” said Lt. Col. Joel Cook, 71 FS commander. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Barry Loo)
